Quote from @Travis Timmons:

I'll help in any way that you think I can. We (wife and I) own short and mid term rentals and have been at it for 3-4 years on the slow and steady wins the race path - buying a property every 12-18 months.

The mutually beneficial mentor thing feels disingenuous to me. If you're new, someone either wants to help you out or they don't. The idea of "providing value" to them is just silly. There's not a ton of value to be provided. If I need help with something, I'll just hire someone to do it. Feel free to send me a message if you think that I can be a resource.

I truly appreciate this reply and forwardness. We are of the same mindset when it comes to adding true value as a mentee in the initial stages beyond a certain point…

I will reach out and send a message shortly!

Thanks!

Hey Joe!

Thanks for the invite. Unfortunately, I was unable to make it due to a television taping in Chicago.

Please let me know if you guys will have a meetup in December as I will be in Los Angeles.

Hello Again!

After a few months of research and webinars I am comfortable in the REI knowledge I have amassed.

I am now looking to learn first hand and gain real life experience in the process of REI from an investor or investors with knowledge and more importantly, the portfolio to support the knowledge. This can be as a mentee or as a mentee / co-investor!

Yes, I know this relationship should be a mutually beneficial exchange and I am more than happy to share my experience and resources (luxury apparel & lifestyle industry).

I look forward to everyone’s thoughts and feedback!

Chaz,

Absolutely.  If you set something up people will come! Once you have details drop them in the forum!

Glad to hear it. I noticed a few more professionally organized meetups and wasn’t sure if it would be worth setting up a smaller one.

Hello Again!

After narrowing down a few markets and tens of hours of BP community research (forums, podcasts and YouTube), my business partner and I are strongly considering Austin, TX as our first investment market.

Would love to host a meetup for members (wholesalers, agents, investors, contractors, architects, lenders etc.) local to the Austin area to proactively start building a network and community!

Curious to know if any of you would be interested in coming out so I can plan accordingly?! And, YES, there will be FREE food haha

Tentatively, around the beginning of October on a Friday or Saturday.

Thanks in Advance!
