For Landlords,

Has anyone worked with ALE solutions to provide short-term housing for displaced individuals and/or families? I just had a representative reach out but I'm hesitant because I'm looking for long-term tenants.

Hello Lesley,

I decided not to use the HUD-VASH program, at least not right now. As long as occupants will take care of the property, I do not see any issues with the program.

Has anyone used their rental/s under the HUD-VASH program? I intend on using the VA loan to acquire a duplex, live in one unit and allow a veteran qualified to live in the other unit.

If you have used the HUD-VASH program, what was your experience and what suggestions or recommendations do you have?

@Steve Vaughan,

I appreciate your contribution, thank-you. Being prepared to pay the mortgage off if called due is my biggest concern. Through research, I found out that the VA loan can be sold when not paid in full if the buyer is found to be creditworthy.

Greetings Everyone,

Does anyone know if it is allowable for a buyer to acquire a property from the seller through seller financing if the seller acquired the home through his or her VA loan? Would anyone happen to know where I can find more details (on whether or not it is allowable)?

Greetings,

I am evaluating commercial property in Rhode Island and I wanted to ask if anyone knows of an attorney who has experience in helping buyers close on commercial properties.

V/R,

Chauncy

Hi Keren!

You bring up a great question. I have not come across any types of incentives like this but they sure would be great!

Hello @Raymond Lewis,

Thank-you for sharing your experiences here in the forum. I will do my due diligence when the time comes to start wholesaling.

@Anthony Thompson

Hello, and thank-you for providing details on what to look out for! I had been looking online, but it seems that there is no clear-cut answer. Like you said, I would have to consult with an attorney who does real estate to find out more.
