Hey Cody, I am from Columbus, OH. A few HML's you can reach out to are: CF Bank, Ultimate Rate Mortgage, Phoenix Loans (also a great PM), Fund That Flip and North Coast. The BRRRR strategy works well in this market for both of those asset classes, and is gaining popularity.

I know of 3 high quality investor-focused agents I could talk to you about/refer you to, who have investments of their own. I will say quality contractors (in the last 2-3 years) in central Ohio have been difficult to find & employ. However, the seasoned investors with stable business systems and proven success in this region, know high quality GCs, who then know other top-notch GCs. Reach out and let's chat!

@Jake Peterson Hi Jake, welcome to the BP Community. There are a many high quality investors and REI individuals to meet in Columbus. Start to attend COIN, COREE, Columbus Multifamily Investors Meetup, and Columbus Deal Makers Sessions (if you haven't already). These 4 groups bring the most value and best networking opportunities. I have been educating myself through networking and assisting investors recently and I am finding a lot of success with it. It's all about helping others and problem solving, not the money. Plus it's fun, I get a rush from it. I'm doing this while also looking for my first deal, preferably a 3 or 4plex. I have verynsimilar goals and aspirations. That's awesome @Thomas Harr As Maurice said, listening is key 24-yr old guys like us, who listen & build rapport easily. Taking that extra time to understand the person and the situation is key. Totally agree. Nice investment pick-up by the way.
