Yep! There are a few networking events, but my favorite is the second Wednesday of each month, and it's typically downtown Raleigh.  The last few times were at the Beer Garden. The event is posted in the events tab around a week beforehand. Check that tab for other events as well. TREIA also hosts networking events.
