Lelith, Thank you for the starting knowledge I truly appreciate it. Jimmy, Thank you for the advice specific to Wichita. I'd love to sit down with you (to pick your brain) once I make it there come June. Beer/Coffee on me. Appreciate it.

Hey everyone! Background: I'm moving to Wichita KS in June after I graduate (undergrad) and I'm looking to start wholesaling/fix-flip etc once I make it to Wichita. Questions: Is there benefit to getting my RE license? Also, should I get a brokers or agent license? In theory, I want to take the licensing course because I enjoy learning and want that knowledge but is it a requirement for me to get started? Will it save me money if I can process deals through myself? The next question I have is should I have an LLC before my first deal? Thanks to everyone for your answers. Charles

Adam, While I'm young and inexperienced, I've grown up around Des Moines over the last 8 years and I believe there will be an enormous opportunity for income and growth in that city. I highly recommend getting in touch with some folks from that area if you can. Good luck. Charles

Tom, Do you have any information on the Iowa City Investor meetup? I'm a senior at the University of Iowa and would love to sit in on a meeting like that. Best Charles
Nick, While I'm brand new to REI, I'd love to sit down and grab coffee to pick your brain a bit as I'm from DM-Iowa City. I believe I could become an asset to do some autonomous tasks for you over the next couple months. Best of luck on finding the answer you're looking for. Charles
No thank you Thomas, I'm not seasoned enough yet. And thank you for the encouragement Dave!

Hello everyone!

This is my first post on BP-I've heard great things. Here's the short.

I'm graduating in May 2016 from the University of Iowa (Economics, BBA) and will be moving to Wichita, KS in June to start work for a fortune 500 company. I would love to begin creating wealth immediately and will have some standing cash after graduation and no debt

If you are from the Iowa City, Iowa area or Des Moines, Iowa I would love to grab coffee and ask for your tips and pointers while I get into this business and potentially help you for free.

If you are in Wichita, KS area I would love to setup a facetime or skype to discuss some potential options for investment and/or where/what to buy, specifics, what to avoid in Wichita, etc.

Excited to connect! I'm a bright, young hungry mind.

Best,

Charles
