I am also a member of the Air Force and was wondering how hard it is to be a long distance land lord. I just finished podcast 023, and was thinking about what James Vermillion said about choosing your market. I don't understand how to buy a house without being in the same state? Or even find a property manager? Should I just sell my property every time I PCS and then reinvest the money at the next base?

Wow! Thanks everyone for the feed back feel much better about it . I didn't realize how many other younger people there were my mentor in his 40's and so was my last mentor from when I was in high school!

I'm very educated and confident about RE and the concepts. Im about to start my business when I get to my next duty station, I want to buy and hold but I am kinda worried that my tenants won't respect me since I'm only 20. Anyone else start out as young as I am?
