Post: Turnkey Companies in Columbus OH

Hi all,

I have been investing in syndication deals but I want to own a property outright. However, I do not think I’m ready (time commitment wise) to put in the work. Therefore, I am leaning towards the turnkey route (in theory it should be less headaches but I know that’s not always the case).

Does anyone know of any good turnkey companies in Columbus, OH?

Thank you in advance!

@Graham Kuzek thats an excellent point about extending the loan even further to reduce the monthly payments. Didn't think of that.

Just convinced my fiancé that we should do a house hack with a mother daughter home.

I live in an incredibly expensive market but there are mother daughter homes available.

Doing the math on a few properties I came to the conclusion that my pure cash flow would be close to break even until my PMI is paid off if I were to rent out both areas of the home however the pure cash flow isn't that significant (unless I am being too conservative with what I can get for rental income which I think I am as I am a CPA and I like to look at conservative numbers).

Basically my question is this - would it be worth it do a house hack if it's going to create a lower monthly mortgage payment (than if I bought a cheaper property that is SFH) for myself even if the property doesn't have that great of a pure cash flow even if I where to leave the house?

@Brett McManus

Fellow NY investor here (from Long Island). My team is interested in potentially investing in the upstate NY area. If you or anyone else would like to connect as well feel free!

Hello BiggerPockets Community,

I am a NY CPA, I focuses primarily on tax compliance and tax planning, and I am interested in investing in the Phoenix AZ area. I would love to connect or get to know real estate investors and professionals who live in that area or have invested in the area.

Please feel free to message, post, or connect in any sort of way!

- Charlie

Thank you for the guidance and advice Michael! Will definitely look into Jersey and do my due diligence.

Hello,

I am going to be using a buy and hold strategy for either a MFH or SFH. I have 50K cash that I want to use to buy a property outright. I live in NY so I will be looking at out of state properties.

Does anyone have a geographic market suggestion for this starting capital?

Thank you in advance.

@Alina Trigub thank you for all of this information and insight! I truly appreciate it.

I am definitely adding the books to my reading list and I'm going to listen to some of those podcasts on my commute to work. I might not be able to go to local REI meet-ups until I'm done with my CPA but that is something else I am also going to pursue afterwards.

Thank you again! - Charlie

Hello BP community,

After doing research on real estate investments for quiet sometime, I came to the conclusion that I want to get my feet wet in real estate by investing as a passive investor via a syndication deal sometime this year.

I am a young guy who is not an accredited investor but I like to consider myself to be (somewhat) financially savvy (I am a tax accountant and hopefully a CPA by June of this year).

How can someone like myself get involved in syndication deals? What are some things I should look out for?

I appreciate any and all insight.

Hey BP community,

I was doing research about getting involved in real estate syndication as a passive investor and I came across a website called iintoo (link below).

https://epiic.iintoo.com/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=%7Bcampaignid%7D&utm_term=%7Bkeyword%7D&utm_content=%7Badid%7D&gclid=CjwKCAiA1ZDiBRAXEiwAIWyNC9PPYcx7fHRjOA3clP9scj_jQy-6bm7Ujj6lhyM5pM3si5eUyCY4nRoC3a4QAvD_BwE

I was wondering if anyone heard anything about this company or had any experience with this company?

Thanks
