As a new investor who may be able to raise private funds, how would one go about providing proof of funds if asked? This would be funds from a partner or private investor (not hard money). I see a lot of people purchasing “proof of funds” but not sure if this is ethical. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone! Just a random question...has anyone ever approached someone from their “full-time” employer (officer or above) about investing/partnering with them on a real estate deal?? I work in finance for a company that specializes in consumer-based loans/products so I don’t think it presents a conflict of interest. Just wondering if it’s been done before.
