Also, I'll let you know what Condo Master means once I finally figure it out. No one seems to know, and if you ever run across it, hopefully it will save you a bunch of time.

Thank you Rick! It's definitely been a complicated process tracking down these owners. I will look into the chain of title. I've talked to the country treasurer, other investors, several real estate agents, and they all keep telling me to go knock on doors; for an abandoned house that doesn't help much. I appreciate your advice! Hopefully I can finally find headway on this house! Thanks again!!

Hi! I have a question about a project I'm working on. I have been hitting some road blocks and I just don't know what it means. I entered this properties address into the county assessor page; nothing came up. I then entered it into the Montana Cadastral Map. The listing came up, but it said it has a different address. (Later to find out, the property lot also owns the building behind it.) - What I don't understand is the listed owner reads "23rd Ave Condo Master - General Delivery Bozeman, MT"

I looked up what Condo Master means, and searches related to insurance companies came up. What I don't understand is if an insurance company owns it, why would it have general delivery mail? Does anyone know more information about  Condo Masters? I called the county assessor and she didn't know what it meant. Thanks in advance!!

I came across an old abandoned house a few miles away from my home. I think it had a lot of potential to wholesale, if of course I can get the owner on board. How do I find the owner? I've tried looking online on Spokeo, but it doesn't have any available information. I heard somewhere that you can go to the court house and inquire that information. Is that true? Do they just give that information to just anyone? - First time wholesaler here, so if you have any additional advice, please let me know!! Thanks!

I'm new to real estate. I quit my job to invest in real estate full time and I'll be honest I'm a little intimidated by the shallow water. I found a property I'm interested in wholesaling. It's a great fixer upper, 3 bed, 2 bath, asking price of $149,900. I reached out to a local real estate agent who claimed to have some personal experience with investing, but she hasn't been able to answer any of my questions so I'm hoping someone on here can give me a shove in the right direction. Let's say I put a offer on this house. On average, what's an appropriate/ professional amount to put down on a contract? Do I contact my buyers now, or wait till my contract is signed? Is it appropriate to disclaim to your agent/ sellers that your a wholesaler? Is there any additional fees in selling the contract to another buyer? Does anyone have any additional advice for this first time investor? Thanks.
