@Bernard Adams I've tried 2  real estate agents and they said I couldn't do anything under contract because I'm not licensed and it would be illegal.

So I can still use those documents and it wouldn't be illegal?

Hello everyone,

I live in Houston, TX and have recently found my first deal. I want to get it under contract however I'm really not sure where to get the document. I went to the TREC website and it said that you have to be a Real Estate Agent to use the contracts, which I am not. Are there any other places that I can go to get the right form to place this property under contract?

Hi, my name is Champaigne, I'm 29, been living in Houston for the last 4 years and am very new to real estate investing. New as in I've just started doing the research and don't know exactly where or how to begin. I was doing Accounting but I am momentarily unemployed and wanted to use this opportunity to focus on real estate. If anyone has any suggestions or tips I am all ears. Looking forward to chatting with everyone.
