Thanks a lot @Carly Bailey

There was a re-appraisal done in Summit county in 2017 the values were adjusted based upon valid sales (arm length transactions) in that specific neighborhood over the past 3 years. The next re-appraisal will not be until 2020. The taxes are going to be based on the home values. You have until April 2nd of this year to contest your 2017 tax value. After that point you have to contact Summit County Appraisal Dept. and can address taxes moving forward for 2018 and payable in 2019.

There are 2 kinds of people in real estate that build wealth. Those who have knowledge and know how to find deals and hustle and build wealth , along with it they also help their friends and others on the way. Others who have cash and are interested in investing in real estate but dont have the time or interest in learning, going through the grind and hustling to find good deals and investing. In that case i would advise partner with someone whom you can trust and who is willing to do the ground work. Its leveraging each other's skills to build wealth.

I personally love learning about this beautiful path of creating wealth, i put lot of hours learning and i love to analyze deals and talk to people, but i dont have a lot of capital , so i work with people who can compliment my skills and its a win win for everyone.
