Richard,

Welcome, I'm Chad Haili a part time investor; also seeking knowledge from everyone too. I have experience in buy and hold, but, would also like to reap the knowledge on acquiring more rental and multi-family properties. if I could assist any knowledge that I have, I'd be glad to share anytime.

Carlos,

You are absolutely correct, there's  no need for a permit

Keep in mind though, if it involves endangering yourself and public safety as to plumbing, electrical, load bearing columns and wall structures, etc. I  would absolutely recommend on acquiring a permit along with having a licensed contractor to do the job. it'll be slight costly, but in the long run it'll help to protect yourself and for others that would acquire the property. I too remodel my properties myself and occasionally had help from friends and contractors.By all means, hope the remodeling comes along great, hope I could be of help for you.

Aloha

Open to any information that anyone can provide in areas in buy and hold, financing, and multi family properties. Any experience levels are encouraged
