There is a piece of land that onces had a gas station on it. The gas station has been removed and now it is just undeveloped. It is approaching 18 months and still no developer in sight. Are gas stations zoning laws and the cleanup to blame? This property is near many schools and sports leagues. I see it as a great spot for a Quad and sports facility. How can I approach developers to discuss possibilities? I am thinking of group funding a partnership or straightforward purchase .

Curious to know who is buying in NY these days.

Has anyone ever rented out a primary home to a relative? My thoughts are that since I have a low apr 3.25 on a primary, I will eventually rent it out to not lose this low interest rate. Plus, the mortgage is under $200k. I am thinking about buying a multi family to live in and have this primary on the side. Any thoughts on how I should set up titles?

@Sameer Jain That is a great book, Rich Dad Poor Dad. To be honest, that is what got me interested in REI. But. I am not 16; I am 44! LoL. Started reading REI books about 2 months ago. Have you invested in NY?
