I am looking at getting a private money from a family member. I am wondering how other people structure these type of loans, I would be using the loan for a BRRRR type investment I should be able to payoff private the private money in 1.5 to 2 years. Also taxes and all the legal stuff how do you get a deal written up?

Hi, I am looking into buying a rental using the BRRRR strategy using private money to finance the purchase and rehab cost . i am curious about the rehab part.

-How much LTV i can get back?

-How log after the rehab and appraisal are complete, will I be able to refinance?

-how will my DTI and credit score effect the refinance?

-should I talk to a mortgage broker about the refinance before getting serious about a deal?

HI,

I have just recently bought a small house with a mother in law apartment attached to the garage. I live in the house but Renting this small mother in law has rekindled some interest in real estate investing. I am looking into single or multifamily properties. Either ready to go or rehabs.I want to learn more about how to analyze deals, what I should be looking for and were to look. Any info, or direction to a good forum/article is much appreciated
