@Bill B. I understand where you are coming from. I enjoy listening to the Rookie Podcast as I feel like their main focus is how the person got to where they are and the actual processes and concepts used. I like Bigger Pockets because they have all different podcasts to help with whatever you need!

How is everyone finding and then vetting investor-friendly contractors? I want to get in contact with a reliable contractor in my area but I do not know where to look for good ones and then what to ask contractors to see if they are going to work well with me on investment properties.

Post: BRRRR with a Conventional Loan?

Hello. I just started listening to the BRRRR book by David Greene. He highlights how you should be buying these properties in cash at first. I bought my first house with a conventional loan and am in the middle of fixing it up. When I go to refinance this property, what are going to be the problems that I face because I started with a loan and not a cash purchase?

Also, can you use hard money lending for the cash purchase upfront for BRRRR properties?

Thank you!

I am looking to start an LLC to buy and hold my brrrr properties. Who would I go to a lawyer, CPA, or someone else to start an LLC?

@Sam Abbott III yeah I just used Andrew Shultz for my closing and he reviewed and took care of everything well in advance and informed me of everything throughout. He is quite knowledgeable in my opinion. I didn't have any problems but I am sure if they were to arise he would have been able to handle them. I'll be using him again for sure!
