What docs should I ask for from the seller besides lease agreements, maintenance contract info, does anyone have a list? Any advice on closing date, rent deposits and/or security deposits.

Hi Lauren, I lived in McAllen for 30 years and now living in Houston for the last 6 years. Lot's of opportunities! McAllen is the next San Antonio, lots of potential. Houston has major venues, baseball, basketball, and football teams and oil and gas!

That was a good reminder of how each property can have different value streams.  BP Insights shows you the appreciation and cash flow over the years so you can determine how long to keep a property.
