I own a property with two duplexes on one parcel and another with three houses on one parcel. 

Do underwriting guidelines allow for one conventional mortgage that would cover the two duplexes or three houses respectively?

I feel like this is more of a zoning issue than a property rights issue. It's essentially running a hotel in a residential area no? 

 zoning laws are also a degradation of property rights, but no one questions them because they have been around for 70 years or so.

i do the same thing in Georgia but my numbers are more like 15-25k for single family rent 450-550 or 30-35k duplex rent 425-450 per side... post rehab if any is needed
