Hi all,

I have for years been interested in flipping a house. I have a team in place to buy or sell property, but missing that all important member to fix a property.

Over the years I have learned how much some things cost, but still not comfortable looking at a property and estimating it's reno. How do I find a contractor willing to look at properties, and estimate a renovation for me? Are there steps to take, is that even a thing or do I have to just buy a property and find a contractor afterwards and hope for the best?

Thank you

Hi everyone, I am a Realtor in Connecticut, who has a few buy and hold properties. I am doing pretty well as a landlord, and would like to purchase more units, but don't have the funds right now. So I am looking into flipping as a possible way to generate income to purchase more property. Are there any house flippers/ general contractors out there from Connecticut preferably the Greater Hartford area, who wouldn't mind a shadow? I am a quick learner. Also I have been licensed for over a year now, and am pretty good putting together a CMA. Estimating rehab is my weakness.

Following up on what William said, if you want to invest in New Britain, I would target the areas that boarder Newington and West Hartford.

I get the concept of finding motivated sellers and investor buyers.  It is just, what is keeping these motivated sellers and investor buyers from going behind your back and working out a deal for themselves?

Hi everyone I am relatively New to BP, and Real Estate Investing in general.  I've had a duplex since 2013, and for the most out everything has gone well with it.  I eventually would like to buy and hold more property, but right now the funds aren't there.

So in the meantime I've been doing a lot of reading about other ways to invest in RE, more than anything wholesaling.  It just seems easier said than done.  Is there anyone on here that has successfully wholesale property here in Connecticut?  Is there anything I should about wholesaling specifically in CT?

Thanks,

Carlos
