Great tread to read. Thank you all for all the info. I am getting to know this market more. We seek to start a portfolio of multi-family in Saint Louis. We hold all of our portfolio in Indianapolis currently. I will be traveling to Saint Louis July 7th-17th and hoping to meet and network with as many people as I can as I seek and analyze more property. Happy to connect!

 I have been wholesaling here in SoCal and are doing flips in midwest. We may have different skills that can bring a nice flip here in Tustin/Irvine to fruition. The market is hot for cash buyers and flips. Will be happy to connect!

Their is a lot of completion in any industry now it seems. Wholesaling here can get tough, or not. Their are a lot of wholesaler killing it here, as well as agents making great money selling retail. Keeping up with the trends and marketing strategies is key. LA is beautiful and so many opportunities. I will be traveling to Saint Louis July 7th-17th. Could use an Agent that has knowledge of that market. Will be happy to connect!

Hello Jess, not sure if anyone that mentioned this but centimeter.com is a good resource to ball park rents in any area. Looking at rentals on CL will give you an estimation too. Also, calling other landlords and apartment complexes and asking their rent rate is a good strategy too. 

We are new to the Saint Louis market with a current multi-family in escrow that we are pretty excited about. Happy Investing!

This is great. Nothing wrong with this. We ALL should be not landlords but real estate investors and entrepreneurs and provide clean, safe and affordable housing.
