Hey all! I have an out of state investor who is scooping up some auction homes and he wants to know a bit more about the tenant laws in Wisconsin.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey All!

I'm a realtor in Milwaukee and I've been connected with a lot more out of town investors who are in the business of flipping. I'm looking for some contractors, handyman, plumbers, roofers that I can partner with to refer all my business to when work is involved. It's hard to find good, reliable, honest help these days so any and all suggestions are welcomed! I actually have a house I need a plumber and a roofer to walk through with me that my investor is considering. This is a relationship business and I'm looking forward to making those connections!

Please and thanks in advance!

Hey @Corina Eufinger thanks for the tips! Long term is definitely an option. I'm looking to buy something 100k or lower but there seems to be nothing in Sheboygan. I saw a few in Plymouth but I don't know if the home values align with the sales prices. Seems like a fickle market or maybe it's just because I don't know the area. I appreciate you chiming in, I may be overstepping my comfort zone with Sheboygan for now!

Hey ladies and gents! I don't know how many of my Wisconsin people this will reach but I'm thinking of investing in the Sheboygan area this spring. I don't know much about it besides there's a plethora of churches, bars and beaches! Was thinking it could be good for a short term rental or maybe just renting out a single family. I wouldn't know the areas to look out for or to stay away from so any advice would be awesome! Thanks in advance!

Hey BP Family, hope all is well! I'm a 1st time home buyer/investor in the making, looking to purchase my 1st house hack. I've met with and been in contact with one lender. However, I don't want to settle with the 1st lender a Realtor recommends to me so I wanted to come on here and see if you all have any lenders in the Milwaukee area that you can suggest. I'm interested in a FHA loan but I'm honestly considering a 203k loan if I can find a lender not afraid of it! Any and all advice is welcomed! Please and Thank you in advance!

Thanks for the tips everyone! I'm still deciding on if I want to take the FHA route or another method. I'll look into the conventional loans in WI, I didn't think of the advantage they might have. I appreciate you all for responding.

@Oscar Cardenas thanks! That makes sense, I'm actually meeting with an agent today so I'm happy to know I'm on the right track!

I'm ready to start taking the steps towards my first house hack and I want to start by finding a lender. Does anyone in the Milwaukee area know of the commonly used lenders in our area? Who to look into, who to stay away from? Any advice is much appreciated!
