I think you may be confusing actual funds with EVIDENCE of funds. They're looking for you to show the cash you promised for the deal. Bank statement, stock brokerage statement, etc.
Find my profile... let's connect. I'm working with a couple others in SoCal to get some deals done in 2018. I'm a real estate broker/investor in Corona, CA.
if you want to use or keep it, you can likely request the combo for a fee and a notary stamp..
same thing happened to me. the safe is still in my garage. I'm not sure if it's empty.

P.S. Write down and track your goals (including how much you have saved and how much you will save each week/month).

I started in a real estate setting. You can easily get most information a Realtor has, but being an agent gives you ready access to needed information and most importantly, you get a commission for buying your own properties and don't need to list with an agent to sell properties. That being said, the time commitment to get a license is substantial (study, training, testing, etc.) and there are some substantial costs to hold a license (approx $1000/yr in Southern California). You might consider partnering up with someone to start since you have limited funds. Good luck.

Welcome and congrats on your desire to start investing. I'm also operating out of SoCal. You might consider doing a few flips and then using proceeds to purchase rental props. Check my profile and let's connect.

They made the same claim 10 years ago.

To start with, you need to get them to pony up a substantial earnest money deposit to show they're serious.  Secondly, pay an agent to represent you in the transaction.  The small amount in commission will be well worth it.

What is your reason for considering a sale if your home wasn't on the market?

Maybe now you can streamline the blog feed so we can see the newest posts instead of week old posts with 200 comments that we've now seen 15 times. If I want to know when a post is commented on, I should be able to request that... not be force fed the same tweet OVER AND OVER AND OVER! Help us out here.
