Might I pry into where in New Zealand you are looking to do this? Just out of pure curiosity

Don't know if its much help as I am a New Zealander by trade so the laws around here are quite a bit different. However, I suspect things work pretty similarly with animals.

Cane Corso's can be absolutely lovely dogs. Neighbors had one growing up and I loved it to bits. However when a dog with that much power and aggression behind it decides to turn its never pretty. If anything happens and someone else gets hurt you may have legal issues but you will also feel just plain horrid if you don't take all reasonable actions within your powers to have the dog dealt with. The potential damage a dog like that can do is not worth being nice over. Suing here's pretty rare so I don't really have an opinion on that. But $200 or so to evict the tenant/dog seems like a small price to pay to protect innocent bi-standers.

Heya @Account Closed. I am Hawkes Bay based and just have a quick curiosity question.

Are there many areas in Gisborne you would simply not be interested in purchasing?

Thank you very much for the warm welcome. I will be sure to go through and have a look at these recommendations!

Heya folks, I'm a new investor and Hawkes Bay based. Feel free to ask any questions however at this stage I may not yet have all the answers!

I agree completely. There are plenty of deals available. It just involves looking where others are not. I am currently chatting to people I know that rent to see if anyone knows of landlords that are looking to sell. As I am still finding my feet I found this an easy way to start.

Heya James. I do apologize for the late reply. I was going to link the first flip however I see you have found the link already. We actually found it through trademe (Harcourts sale). It was a deadline sale and the sellers were in a rush to get out. Paid a little more than I had hoped, however it is working well and I am currently waiting to be bought out so that I can try do it again.

As a second flip this is remarkably inspirational! Cheers for posting the process. I look forward to seeing the final outcome.

How far are you from finishing?

well that may be a slight exaggeration however it is a great tool. And a great way to find reliable real estate companies in the area

Absolutely. Most properties sold through real estate companies end up on trademe.
