I’ve starting wholesaling in my spare time. Driving for dollars. Working with a parter. Still trying to get our first deal. Talked to a man who wants to sell his house. His an investor who flips and been doing it for almost as long as I’ve been breathing. He has two ways he wants to go one sell the house now. Or wait till spring and fIx it then. He working on more projects then he can handle. Now I have no money to buy the property. I want to whole but the goal has always been to move to fix and flip. I trying to figure is there a way for me to take the proporty. Fix and flip with the seller. And how would I present that.

Hello, I have another questions.  I checking out a proporty tomorrow but it’s a two hour drive. I don’t have a problem with that.   I just know anything about the town of CENTERVILLE.  Does any one know anything about the area and/or can help with what to ask him.  I’m breaking my cherry here.  I’m  understandably very nervous

Thanks @Mark Reiland,  I was thing the same thing.  area there any neighborhoods I should stay away from in Coralville and North liberty.  and what do you know of CR.  again thanks for the help.

Hi everybody, my name is David. From Pittsburgh Pa., currently live in Iowa city. I’ve been flirting with REI for years. Reading up on it (mainly wholesaling.) and wealth building in general. But I never took the plunge. I woke a couple of week ago and put on my swim trunks. But I don’t know where the pool is. I’m slow building a road map to the listening to everything I can, read what available, and plan to go to a meet up tomorrow (7/18). I’m very thankful that there a resource like BiggerPockets. With so many ideas and plans of attack at my finger tips now, i feel it won’t be long until I’m swimming laps.
Thank you for your suggestions. I’ve been looking at zilllow with bug eyes at the prices. But I’m not discouraged. I got start somewhere. I immediately joined a real estate meet up, from your advice. Thank you both for talking with me.
Moved to Iowa city almost two years ago now. Looking to get into REI. Would love to do some thing local but as I’m new too the real estate it’s tough to know where to start. I don’t have any resources beside to little time and and a car. My main question is, is Iowa city a god place to start? Thanks David Conley
