You're not going to miss anything about George W. Bush because you'll be living with the consequences of his administration's actions for years to come and that ain't good.
Not having to stare into the face of a totally blank minded, proven loser, will be the only positive to come out of this.

Nobody in their right mind buys a bank debenture note that anyone is selling. They aren't sold, they're issued by the bank to those who pay for them and sold to an exit buyer at
a % off face value the same as an mtn. They don't come cheap either. Deutsche is offering one for 1 billion that includes two 500M notes each with a 1T contract and pays 24 points a tranche. Exit buyer is already in place.

That's how it's done. With a ton of paperwork also.

A week or two ago a California REIT got in touch with me and wanted to unload several hundred million worth of its holdings and when I see something like that brought to my attention. unsolicited, I have to wonder.

What about just discussing the viability of prepackaged portfolios?
Every mother's son is selling them through someone they know who's
one or two away from someone else who knows the seller's sister and
is simply asking them for an LOI the kiss of death?

When did the inmates take over the asylum?
