I would recommend coming up with a few different headlines and content and testing them all on a small portion of your list to figure out what works best.

I think you should go for it! I've done the exact same thing with my 6-plex and it's worked out very well.

I've re-used old cabinets many times if they're decent enough. Here's what I do: install new knobs and hinges (usually stainless or black) and re-paint the cabinets. After that they look as good as new and it can be done for almost nothing.

In your situation I would definitely look for a multi-plex and live in one of the units. Sharing a wall isn't a big deal but if it bothers you that much you could just rent all the units and rent another place for you self somewhere else...

Thanks for info Josh. What do you suggest for patio doors? For regular windows we've been using aluminum horizontal blinds since the beginning and they just get trashed so easily. We just started switching to 2" faux wood and so far so good.
