I'm a bit confused. So you have a RE Networking Summit coming up in January of next year, but also one in August of this year, and they are both considered the 2nd big networking event? The time that it begins....for the one in January.... is literally at 7:58 a.m? and the cost to attend $123? Can you clarify these discrepancies please? I really would like to attend. Thanks!!

Hello all!!

I am a newbie investor....I'm actually in a learning process right now while keeping an eye on the market in my area for deals. I have what I've found to be a good deal, and would LOVE some advice on how to proceed. I'm located in SF Bay Area, and have found a major fixer for a multifamily (the pictures reveal a need for new kitchens, for whoever was there, took everything that makes a kitchen a kitchen) The price for this property is a little less than $100000 which is unheard of here. It would actually go for twice what the price is. Now, I have no financing....yet, and haven't even seen the property......yet (contacted an agent). This property is being sold on an online auction in about two weeks, and has only been on the MLS for two days, so it is still new. Now, my question is: what exactly should/can I do? Would a hard money lender fit this scenario? It seems to be such an awesome deal....I'm aware there are risks concerning the condition of the property and purchasing at an online auction.

Hello! I'm definitely interested!

Hello!! Welcome!! We have virtually the exact same goals, and I just wanted to reach out. Though I can't offer you much, because I also am in the same position as yourself, learning and growing as much as I can concerning this vast arena of real estate; more specifically multi-family units. Perhaps we can network in the near future. God bless you on this new endeavor.

Hello all!!

I have a prospective investment property, my first actually, and I just wanted opinion's on whether it is a good deal or not. So this is a triplex, with 3 bed, 2 bath in each unit. The listing price is for 320000, and two units go for 850, and the last for 775, so the gross annual income is 29700. I'll be putting down 20%. Unfortunately I couldn't locate the property tax amount. The property looks to be in good condition. I think that's it. What do ya'll think?

Hi all!

I was wondering what others opinions were concerning who the best banks were for mortgage lending? I have an account at Travis Credit Union; does anyone have any experience with them?? Thanks.
