Good morning Jeff, my wife and I are also just starting out with wholesaling properties. We did set our LLC up through Utah with no issues. It would be highly recommended once you have several properties to have them under separate LLCs so the liability is held separately for each property with each LLC, this way if you were to get sued, they can in theory only go after that individual property under that specific property being held.

As for the taxing of LLCs, they are typically looked at as Sole-Proprietorships or Partnerships depending on if you are the only owner or if you have a business partner. And they are a pass-through tax directly to you, much like having an S-Corp.

Thank you Jay and Randy, my wife and I will look into this new Oregon Law.  We are working with a couple of licensed and local real estate agents, so we'll run this by they as well.

Thank you also for the other info this site provides and we will be looking to attend a couple of Real Estate Investing Club meetings.

My wife and I are new to Bigger Pockets, thanks to Dann in the North Plains, Oregon area. Thank you Dann for telling us about Bigger Pockets.

Starting out, we are looking at completing several wholesale deals in the Willamette Valley area. We eventually want to move towards rehabs and rentals.

We are most definitely looking to expand our networking with others, we are always looking to add other investors to our list of contacts as well as buyers.

We are extremely excited to be here on Bigger Pockets and look forward to connecting with as many people as possible.

Thank you all, and have a great day.
