Hey friends Currently I feel like I am having trouble with setting and keeping track of goals I want to achieve both in real estate and self improvement. I was wondering what books or other resources you could recommend for goal setting and a system of accomplishing them? Thanks :)
Thanks for you’re feedback! I definitely don’t want to participate in inbreeding. Thank you!
Hey quick question. So we are house hacking a duplex currently and I had someone suggest paying rent to myself so that if we are to sell it in a few years we would have a good rent history. Is that something people do? Is that legal? Just wondering because i hadn’t thought of doing that before. Let me know what you think. Thanks

Thanks everyone for the input! Ill probably check out cozy and see what that offers, unfortunately  erentpayment has a bad rap but I do appreciate all input!

Hey BP! My wife and I purchased a duplex a few months ago and are in the process of learning to be Landlords! Are duplex is located in Idaho falls but we do summer sells so we will be gone from April-September. What I’m trying find is a good online management software to use for purpose of collecting rent? Also any other suggestions for managing from afar would be welcomed! I’m planning on enlisting a Relative to check in on the property from time to time and I’m hoping since it’s only for a few months that everything will run smoothly while we are away. Thanks, any comments will be appreciated.

So this is my first purchase of a property and it is going to be a duplex we live in, Im trying to figure out the best route to go for insurance. Does anyone know a good agent or broker in Idaho falls or even just Idaho in general? Any direction would be great!

Im a college student and am wanting to get started in real estate. Right now I'm in the process of getting a home for me to live in and renting the rest of the rooms out to other students. I have heard of people doing this and it seems like a good idea, instead of paying to live in apartment just getting a home and having the other renters paying enough to cover all the expenses. I have found a few places that fit the criteria i've been looking for but now I'm having a hard time determining how much it will cost me each month for the house. What factors do i need to know, and about how much would it cost monthly for a home that is selling for about 160?
