Hey @Jordan Foster Pouncey what locations are you looking at? A good idea would be what BiggerPockets calls house hacking where you live in one room of the house and rent out the others. This also works with a duplex which has two units on one piece of property. Message me if you want to talk further.

@Jeffrey Douglas I just finished listening to CashFlow Quadrant by Robert Kiyosaki on audiobook. It was great because it explains the different type of investors and challenges to reader or listener to take action.

@Jean Joseph I would recommend against using the sellers agent as your own agent. Even if your agent is an hour away, if they want your business, they’ll do what they have to do.

@David Monroe I have not made quarterly goals. I have a monthly/weekly planner where I put the due dates of each assignment for the semester.

@David Monroe my 2019 goal is to complete my bachelors degree program. I’ve decided to take 3 classes for two of the remaining semesters I have to be on track. So I guess preplanning has been effective in making progress toward my goal.

@Daniel F. Harb I’ve been using an ETF to short the market for the last few weeks. It’s done pretty well (>20%). I’ve still taken some losses as I am a buy and hold stock market investor as well. It has been nice to watch my investment increase as the market fell!
