Post: How do you find market research data?

I am doing some basic market research and understand that I need to find data on population, job diversity, housing, vacancy, and more. I tried using the US census site, but I could not figure out how to isolate the data (Perhaps I need to spend more time with this.) Is there an easier way than learning the census borough's software to do market research on states and cities?
