W2 employee + RE investor, employer doesn't contribute towards HI premium. I know if he were self employed and had 1099 income he could deduct the premiums. How can he deduct the premiums, if he can? Thx in advance.

I'm too exhausted to be thorough on this, but short answer: no. If you're an equity partner, usury doesn't come into play. Bill Gulley can certainly advise you on this. Do the deal if it's what you want to do. :)

"Low barrier to entry" is right on IMO. I've been saying for years that I wish MLS dues would go from the peanuts we pay now to $5K a month. Only the professional folks would be left standing.
