Hi there, I am also in the LA area and worked in the Valley for almost 20 years. It is a great place to own a home and realize the appreciation. The market is continuing to go up and many improvements you make will provide you a nice ROI. At then end of the day, I agree, it is about YOUR goals, if you want this to catapult your investment journey you can sell and reinvest, or you can hold onto it an earn a little cash flow, do a refi or HELOC, lots of options. Hi all, newbie here. I have a 4 plex near Ventura, CA that I am interested in purchasing as my first investment property. When I contacted the real estate agent he informed me that I could not view the interior until a contract was in place. Is this normal? How can I estimate repairs if I can’t see the interior of the units? Thanks for your help! Brittany
