@Christopher Phillips I believe so, this is an online auction but it does say there is financing on there... I'm not sure how it works honestly.

You know Jeffery I am a firm believer in that as well and before I came across this property I had a road map lined out for my next couple moves and it seems this has just been a beautiful distraction. Since I am looking to move in the next year I seen this as a beautiful home investment opportunity. I've been looking for a sign to tell me which direction I should be going and this was great advice. It really does seem to be more difficult when you try and force something that just isn't meant to be.

Thank you!

I'm trying to purchase a home for myself that just went to auction....

It's an online auction and I have until the 14th of June when it ends to try and make this happen.

What should be my steps to get it? I've already been in the property many times, so I know a lot about the property. It's an older home that I planned to get a FHA 203k loan with and rehab into a beautiful home.

I was looking into PML when I wanted to make an offer before it went to auction I just needed to raise my credit score a little in order to be pre approved. Now I'm hoping to still find a way to purchase it under a short time frame.

Would anyone be willing to suggest how I can go about making this deal happen? Thank you in advance for any help!

@Kerry Boyle Thank you for your input! I'm trying to find a PML or a HML but I'm having no luck. Where would I begin to look?

My husband and I were looking to purchase a home that has gone under auction unexpectedly. I have until June 14th when the auction ENDS to place a bid. I have never purchased at an auction before... and was unprepared when it went up for auction because no one was placing an offer on the house. (It was a foreclosure)

My husband and I were planning on buying the home under a private lender that we have been working with, with a FHA 203k loan, we just needed to get my husbands credit score up a little higher to get pre approved for the loan amount.

Now that we are under a time restraint, we are looking for any ideas about how to finance and secure the asset. Private money lenders?? Hard money lenders?? (Not really in favor)

I am set on this house! I plan to still refinance whatever strategy I use to buy the home when with a FHA 203k loan... Does this sound logical?? Any advice or suggestions??

I've been wanting to purchase a house for a couple months now. The only problem was credit... So my husband and I have taken our time to build our credit to be able to make an offer. The house was a foreclosure and we just found out the house is going up for auction. it went from a starting price of $150k to then $140k and $134k... The last price drop was to $114k! We were so excited since there was no one was putting a bid in. Since it's going up for auction, is my only option now a private lender to catch this deal? Also, does anyone have any experience with auctions and could give some advice? Thank you in advance! -Brittany

Thank you! Not a problem. I am looking to buy this home as my own. I want to move out of the current home I'm in but the one I live in currently was a buy to fix up and rent out eventually and now is that time. I found this house when I was looking for investment properties and couldn't pass it up as my own. But with having no credit, I didn't know if I was able to get a rehab loan since my credit score isn't high. Do private lenders loan with little to nothing down? I'm new to real estate so please bare with me!

Find someone who shares the same passion as you. Surround yourself with like minded people. I feel very passionately about real estate and the various topics that go along with it, and my husband and I do this together as a team. It wouldn't work without it.
