Hello BP, Has anyone had experience (good or bad) with a "Sandwich Lease to Own" option? Which portion of the "sandwich" were you? I'd love to hear the good, bad and ugly. Thanks!

@Katie Stone: How are your rental properties doing?  Would you mind sharing any details about them?  (Ie. when did you buy them, price, rents, are you managing them yourself, etc?)  Thanks!

Hello All,

I would love to hear about your experience regarding buying in an up market (such as this one) and then how your leveraged properties cash flowed after the market corrected.  Was any vacancy on target with your original budget?  Did you have to lower rents at all?  How did it all work out for you?  I do realize scenarios will vary greatly by location and leverage terms, etc.  Thank you!

@Leo Gonzalez Awesome! You mentioned you are investing out of state. Do you mind sharing where you're buying? How did you find the deal?

This is my first post on BP. Thanks for starting the conversation. I'm a real estate agent and musician. Between selling homes, booking and playing gigs, and being a father and husband, I'm definitely never bored. :) I'm working on my 1st investment property now and looking forward to many more. Best of luck!
