Focus on making 60k a year from your properties. Who knows how long that may take, really depends on how your investing but once its done then quit and invest those full time hours into your own business!

I am a first time home buyer and was curious as to what exit strategies most house hackers use for their first house hack. Do I move out into another plex and and rent out both sides of the first property? Do I live there until the mortgage is paid? I know theres plenty of other ideas just haven’t come across them yet!

I never really took wholesaling into consideration but i definitely think it would be something I would be great at. Thanks for the suggestions!

My number one short term goal is to quit my job. I hate waking up going into work everyday. Im a very hard worker and want to put my efforts towards my own business. I need to have at least $2200 monthly cash flow from my investments. Do you think it’s possible to make that in a year and if so what investment options could bring in that cashflow in a short period of time? I dont have much money down which might be my biggest obstacle. Should I start off house hacking, should I rent out a single family home or maybe even house flip.

Thanks John. I actually would like to house hack in either a duplex or triplex. Do all banks or lenders require a down payment or should I start seeking a partner for my first deal?
