Hello all! I am looking to connect with people who are investing in the Houston market and know the Houston market. I intend on investing in Houston as an out of state investor some time next year. I want to start building a team so when It is time I am ready to. Could you recommend a hard money lender, GC, relators, and property management companies?

 Thank you!

Hello all! I am finally out of my analysis paralysis and ready to get the ball rolling on investing (finally)! *cue the applause* lol. I decided on going the hard money lender route and since a majority (if not all) hard money lenders only lend to LLC's I was wondering if the LLC needs to be opened in my home state or the state that I am investing in?

@David M. I will definitely take you up on that offer. Thank you!

What's with the "sheesh?"  How was i supposed to know where you are / looking?  Your profile is empty and you didn't mention anything in your post.

Hi David, I didn't mean it in a rude way at all! The sheesh was in reference to every where in NJ being hot lol I was not expecting that. I should've been clearer, my apologies.

You don't want to be in a hot area, then you are too late. As @David M. said, New Jersey is hot. Everywhere. You want to find an up and comer that is behind the crazy bids. In Essex, I like Belleville and West Orange, but they are both getting slammed with offers. In Morris, I like Boonton because the town is developing and could be like Denville. It also depends on your price point where you want to be. If you like South Jersey, Salem has some deals still. Everyone you know is wanting to house hack in NJ so you have to pinpoint where will work for you based on what you can spend, where you work, and what amenities you want to be near.

Hi Jonathan thank you for replying! Your response was very insightful. You're definitely right I shouldn't go directly into a hot market. How do you determine what up and coming cities are better than others to invest in?

Main street in Marlton (zip code 08053) is currently being renovated. you can see the area set for rehab on the township website, as well as new condos and mixed use properties (shops on the ground and apartments above) that are going up. i think everything will be done in roughly another 2 years but some has already opened.

Hi David, thank you for that information I am not too familiar with Marlton, but I will definitely do my research. Have you done any REI in Marlton yourself or looking to?

Well, right now all the areas are hot...  Just about everything is going with multiple offers in a day or two.  Where about in NJ are you?

sheesh! I am in North Jersey

Hello all! I have been interested in investing in RE for some time now and wanted to get a property by late 2021.

I wanted to know what are some hot areas in NJ do you suggest investing in? I will most likely house hack and rent out rooms. Is there any area in particular I should look into? Any and all information is helpful!
