Congrats on the deal @Bill R. This is a perfect example of why everyone you come in contact with should hear about what you do, you just never know...

Hello @Rebecca Rodibaugh and welcome to BP. There is no sign up necessary for the Denver meetup. It's kind of an informal networking event that @Anson Young has put together. As he said, it's the last Monday of every month, just show up. There is a post somewhere in the market place with details on yesterday's meetup. If you set up keyword alerts for "Denver" you will be notified whenever someone mentions Denver, including the meetup. These events are a great way to network with investors of all experience level. Unfortunately is missed last night but maybe we'll have a chance to talk at the next event.

Cheaper does not mean better. It's very tempting to try to save money on postage but post cards just don't have the proven ROI that letters have.

Hi @Charles Townsend and welcome to BP. The BP meet up and the Pine Financial events mentioned above are awesome ways to network with a great group of people.

Yes, a letter does cost more but I don't do postcards so I can't say how much more.

Yellow letters are better, there is a ton of opinion on this, that's mine. Don't use "We Buy Houses" and be careful with the term "ugly house", these phrases are intellectual property and using them will only bring you trouble.

I have purchased listsource lists as low as $9; I don't think that I've ever paid $50+ for any list from them. Not sure what the deal is. I sometimes have trouble with my debit card on their site but otherwise my experience has been positive.
