Is there one website that has accurate and reliable property tax rates for various areas? When I google the property tax rate of a certain area, I get several different websites telling me several different values. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I am considering purchasing a property through a loan from friends/family. Are there any non-obvious downsides to this kind of loan? Is there a set legal range for the interest rate? Any knowledge/resources on this would be greatly appreciated!

Does anyone have any knowledge on if it is possible to get a mortgage without having income from a job? For example, would it be possible to get a mortgage on a property, rent out the property and use the rental income to pay off the mortgage monthly, then travel or do something that doesn't create any extra income.
