Hi @Avery Heilbron, thanks for the reminder. I should of mention in the beginning that I currently own a home using a FHA loan. No plan on house hacking to move to a multi family in which causes my difficulty in starting in the real estate world.

I have a 5yr plan that I want to accomplish which include Flipping to save up more money for investing, BRRRR method to start monthly income and then growing to own Multi Families. My struggle at the moment is finding productive solutions to start without using much out of pocket funds. More than happy to speak to anyone with insights or trying to help. Open minded to everyone's ideas on how to start in any direction.

Hey @Timothy White,,

Thank you for the reply. At this moment in time I want to build up as much research the different investment processes step by step and where they should be used based on property type or area. I have around 20k saved up now to start my journey but if there are ways in which I can not fully use my savings then that would be extremely helpful. I understand real estate is not a process where you just don't use any of your money but I am hopeful that there are ways to use minimize cost out of pocket.

Hello All,

Extremely new member with interests in starting an investment career in MA. Currently a Loan Originator but want to produce a portfolio for long term income. MA seems to be potentially difficult due to high market prices and trying to find which strategy to go with. Open to meet new people to discuss and learn the ins and outs of different investment strategies. Also trying to complete as many deals in the beginning with using a small percentage of my own money. Obviously 20% down payment for a conventional loan with properties being on the market for 300k-500k is a little much at the moment.

How are people completing deals now a days? Flipping? BRRRR method? Single family or Multi Family?

Thank you in advice ! Excited to learn and meet new people
