Quote from @Nathan Gesner:

I bought an awesome cocktail arcade table for my wife six years ago. I think it has 3,000 games. There are controllers on each end for 1-player or 2-player games, then a second set of controls on the side for head-to-head games like Street Fighter.

We have a cheat-sheet with instructions under the glass, and we have a book with laminated pages that lists the instructions and the games. A lot of our guests love it!

Do a Google search for Awesome Arcades. Family owned, great reviews.

This place looks awesome, (no pun intended). Thank you!

Has anyone tried either Dream Arcades or Quality Arcades? I am leaning towards Quality Arcades because it's smaller and has more games, but Dream Arcades seems more reputable.

Best Buy also seems like a strong bet, but they only sell single-game machines.

Hi, all! We want to buy an arcade machine for our STR that plays a bunch of different games. Does anyone have any machines or vendors that they'd recommend that would deliver? Any tips or advice?

Many thanks!

Thanks, @Barry Wong!

Gorgeous website for Three Palms! Really nice, and I like the hospitable booking integrations. You've done a really good job with this.

My only word of advice is for you to build out some content pages to help with SEO. (A friend runs an SEO firm and ran an audit of our site.) The two big takeaways were 1) Optimize the site for speed (easy with Wordpress plugins) and 2) build out content pages.

Check out the Locations tab on our site. I've build 4 already and am working on 8 more. So far we have done a Ski Guide, Bar & Restaurants Guide, Hiking Guide and Swimming hole guide.

We're now ranking in the Top 5 on Google for "Best Family-Friendly Hikes in Southern Vermont".

Cheers,
Brian

I am confused. You "own" 2 of the 8 units and your partner "owns" the other 6? Are they using a different PM than you are for your 2 units? If that's the case, is there an economy of scale in using the same PM as your partner?

Many VAs in the Philippines and elsewhere are great at assembling and calling lists for RE investors. The cost is only about $12/hour. Check out UpWork.

Can you just call Verizon Fios or whatever local vendor services your area? They typically will provide you with hardware. You can get the most basic service plan as you wont need high data capacity. You can probably install the unit in the basement or the attic, and then  you may need to install wifi extender near the cameras.

@Yael Lederman, that's a really good idea! Thank you.

Quote from @Matt Owens:

The branding looks great. I have two suggestions:

1. Include a call to action button on the homepage. “Book Now” or “View Listing”.

2. Shorten content on about us page. A lot to read through.

Nice work!

@Matt Owens, really good feedback and thank you for the kind words. The "About Us" content imports from OwnerRez, so when I make changes on the back-end, they push out automatically to the site, Airbnb and VRBO. There are two options to push this info out, one long and one short. I found the short info section to be too short, so went with the long option. I thought about manually entering this info myself and editing down a bit more, but opted for the option that enables autosync so I wouldnt have to update in multiple places at the same time. Perhaps I pare this down a bit, though, so thank you for the tip.

As for the Book Now button, I opted for "Check Availability" instead as I thought the commitment was less and would entice people to engage with it more if they didn't feel like they'd get "stuck" committing up front. I definitely waffled on this a lot, though.
