Post: The Good and Bad about STR/Airbnb Arbitrage

I see a number of people posting their stuff about STR arbitrage and making good money. Obviously, it's super easy to see the good sides, but I'm also really curious about some negative things about STR arbitrage. If you've done this, what are some challenges and things that you would have known before? Many thanks in advance!

I'm very interested in investors in the Savannah or surrounding area. If you are doing any type of real estate investment there, I'd love to connect with you. As I'm new to this market, I'd love to hear what you have to say!

Hello BP investors! I really want to get HELOC, and have no idea where to get it. What's the first step I should do to get it?

What are typical procedures that I should expect? Thanks a lot!

I used a second home loan. You can use the property manager for your second home loan property but you can't rent it out for 1 year since closing. After one year, you are free to do whatever. At least, that's how I understood.

Hi all! Short term rental really is amazing and I'd like to get one of those. I heard difficult rules about Airbnb in Vegas, and am curious if there's any one who's doing Airbnb! What are some of the things that I should look out for? Is there a specific area that I can focus? What was your booking rates throughout the year? Thank you!

I heard HELOCs are good for flipling. Take the money. Buy the distressed house. Flip it. Then sell it.

Zack -- thanks for your response. This really helps and I think there was miscommunication. Thanks for the clarification. Will definitely reach out if I have more questions. Thank you so much for being available!
