My children are 5 and 9 yrs old. Between the 2, we put away around $1100/month for their 529 plans. So far they have almost $100k combined in the plans(extremely stagnant growth if any). If I choose to pull back on the monthly contributions and lean to REI for the college plans. How would I go about it? It would take me a little while to save up enough to buy another rental(we currently have 2). Just save the monthly contributions until I have enough for another down payment? The mkt in North TX is at high and prices are not buyer friendly right now

Been lurking for a while, but have never posted. We live west of FW and currently have 2 rentals in the Aledo area. After looking at various different areas we decided to settle closer to home and bought 2 houses over the past 2 years. They have both been rented since we bought them and seem to be doing well. Im not quite sure where to go next and would love to speak with an experience investor from the Fort Worth area. Such a wealth of knowledge and information here on BP!
