Thanks for the helpful responses. Basically, the ground is slightly sloped downward toward the property. The inspector said it's typical of homes in the area, not something to be alarmed about. It does not have gutters so I'm hoping that will remedy the situation.

I'm under contract on a property and there is a bit of water build-up in front of the house. The house has no gutters. Would adding gutters solve the problem? The water is probably about 4-6 inches deep.

I'm in the process of buying a property in Montgomery, AL. I'm looking for a reputable property manager in the area. Can you make any recommendations?
