@Chris Mason

Aloha Chris,

Wouldn't it be difficult to obtain an FHA loan in a state I just moved to? I'll have enough money for a 3.5% down payment on a house, but no immediate job once I move. Thank you!

I am planning to house hack in Washington, but currently live in Hawaii. Am I able to obtain an FHA loan from a local bank/lender and use it towards a house in Washington? Thank you!

Aloha all,

I am 19 years old and recently became interested in investing in rental properties. The problem is I live in Hawaii and houses here a extremely expensive. My plan is to educate myself and save as much money as I can and move to Washington in 3 years to purchase my first rental property. My question is, where is the best place to save/invest my money in for the next 3 years that have a low to no risk on losing money and will allow me to gain interest. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated, Mahalo!
