Hey everyone! So I'm exploring all fields of real estate investing, and I've stumbled upon wholesaling. My biggest question is how do you find potential buyers to make up your buyers list?

I've read several posts about attending REIA meetings, but the area that I'm from doesn't have an organization like that. Any suggestions?

Thanks!!

J,

Thanks for your input!! That's great. What I was actually thinking of doing in the future was to have one the businesses as subsidiaries of one main businesses, but I definitely agree that keeping them separately would probably be the best bet for me.

The problem with flipping is my market area. I'm from rural PA, and the houses here are pretty cheap to say the least. I might try flipping a single-family home to begin with and see how it goes for this area, but if it doesn't sell I can always rent it I guess. How did you get started with flipping and what obstacles have you faced while doing so?

Also, (this is more directed at your wife) what kind of networking strategies do you use to market your business?

Thanks!!!

James,

Whenever you started your business, how were you and your partner operating? Just a partnership or an LLP, and if I want to combine both my staging business and my real estate investment, what do you suggest I do?

Oh, and did I mention that I'm a certified home stager?? If possible, I'd like to merge the two businesses together eventually!! =)

James,

Thank you for your input!! Since I'm a first time home buyer, I can finance my first property through an FHA mortgage, but how long should I wait until I look into purchasing my next property?? What finance options do you recommend for additional investment properties??

Thanks!!

Hey everyone!

I'm a young businesswoman in the western PA area. My entire young adulthood was spent reading about real estate and learning about investing. When I got to college, I decided that going into the accounting field would be the best option for me if I wanted to open my own business someday. Now, after accumulating my MBA, I'm looking for supplemental income that I can turn into a full-time career down the road.

I'm looking into properties for my first investment. Luckily, the only debt I have is student loans, and I'm a first time homebuyer. I knew early on that I wanted my first home to be an income property and eventually turn that moneymaker into a business. I've read posts and interviews from Michael Rossi, a man who I admire greatly, and I am looking for some serious advice on getting started. I have my finances in order, located the market area that I would like to purchase in, and even have an agent ready to assist me whenever I need him.

If you could give me some advice, I'd really appreciate it!!!! Thanks everyone for your future posts!!!
