Thanks for your info, I should be there in November, so if I find others I will update this post. Aussie real estate is too expensive for me to buy, but I have some other ideas that may be effective. Bad part is, I can only hold a 15% ownership of a company until I get my residency later on.

I have identified an potential opportunity for mobile homes in another country and am researching shipping rates and laws for it.

Has anyone here done this or could someone point me in a direction for my search? The only thing I am finding is for RV's or vehicles. I'm looking for total price for buying from a manufacturer and shipping rates (if any). Thanks for any help guys and gals.

I'm American, but travel to the Sydney, Australia area very frequently. I am very interested in the market conditions and have a couple ideas of how to invest there that I would like to run by someone. Does anyone know of an investor association near the Liverpool area, as that is where I live while in the country. I am willing to travel to find others though.

That website screams scam to me, but I could be wrong. From the numbers its a possible $500 cashflow. Do you think you could cover PITI and expense if the oil boom goes away, and rents go back to normal prices?

I am in the same situation. Bought my SFR cash, and will be taking out around $50k to purchase other properties in the area, while the house still brings in pretty good cash flow. Hold it.

Also, if you are still wanting to finance a mortgage under $50k, Wells Fargo has been helpful for me.
