@Marcus Auerbach I have definitely have been learning about that from the podcasts and that’s why I was considering it. Just to have the quick access to listing and information and save a nickel here and there on some private deals.

@Corina Eufinger once I have a cash flow that surpasses my living expenses, I would like to move into larger multi family properties. Yes I have been working on my networking outside of bigger pockets! As I start bartending more I will have access to a lot of investors from my area. I bartend on a pretty prestigious lake with a lot money on and around it. I love your advice on keeping in touch with other members! I need to form better communication with bigger pockets for sure! I definitely love how open everyone is to help! Some of my other plans after I get a solid foundation would be to wholesale on deals that I wouldn’t be interested in, and potentially notes as another side passive income. My goal is to build multiple passive income streams for retirement. I’m also going to be looking into eiu life insurance policies.

@Marcus Auerbach Thanks for the reply! I couldn’t agree with you more, the podcasts give me a lot of confidence! Are there still benefits to having a real estate license? What were some of your negative experiences that you had? Do you know if there are any RE groups in northern wi?

Hello everyone! My name is Brandon Whitman, I am 22, engaged to my high school sweetheart. I’m just getting started on my real estate adventure! I’m currently working full time at Henry’s Repeating Arms, in the next couple weeks I’ll start bartending on the side again. I’ve started to see how much potential real estate has in so many ways. I started on bigger pockets podcast last week and I’m on episode 40 already, I’m already half way through rich dad, poor dad. I can see why so many guests on the show have recommended it! can’t learn enough about real estate, it sparked an interest deep down. I can’t wait to see where I can take myself!

I’m looking to get into buy and hold with cash flow for now, until I get a grip on it. Then expand my portfolio for the next 10-20 years. I’ll post a more official 10 year plan in the next coming days.

In a few weeks I will be taking my real estate broker class for future ease of things with deals, mls, etc..

Any advice or information about northern Wisconsin? Anyone else from the surrounding area?
