Hey @Tyler Heard! I am also a new REI in OKC, and I also have worked in healthcare for 9 years. I would recommend looking into a local REIA (real estate investor association). OKC REIA meets at the crown plaza hotel on NW expressway in NW OKC. I've started going to the meetings and I am meeting tons of people from RE agents, other REIs (duh), wholesalers, flippers, and private money lenders. It is one of the best way to connect with local REIs.

Hey everyone!

Well I have been interested in getting into real estate for awhile, but have never taken the time to start educating myself about the whole business. Needless to say I am starting that process and I am getting excited! Probably going to jump into buy and holds first. I really loved Brandon's BRRRR method I have been hearing about. I am starting to get over the initial fear of investing and I think it is just coming down to finding that perfect first deal. See you all around the forums!
