@Tyler Warner there is a facebook group that was started called Marshal Fire Housing Needs and Availability that was set up for people with housing needs to post on as well as folks with available housing to post. I believe they have an excel file that is posted on the page as well that lists available properties, size, rent, etc. Take a look. If your family member is still in need and cant find anything there, shoot me a direct message. I have a couple of colleagues in the Denver area that may be good resources as well to rentals. Good Evening Everyone! 

I have been looking closely at the Rapid City market as a strong potential focus for the coming year. I would be looking to purchase 2 to 3 long term rentals in the area and am hoping to connect to investors in the area that may be able to provide some insights as to potential areas to avoid, experiences in the market to date, etc. Any recommendations on local realtors and/or Property managers would be welcomed as well! 

I have had family in the area and long term I do plan to move there in the next 5 years or so. I have spent a decent amount of time there and occasionally travel there for work so I have a decent lay of the land but would love some local insider information.

Hey Everyone! I am looking to get a bit more deliberate in developing my investment strategy around minimizing my tax burden this year. @Christian Albright I would also echo what Grace mentioned above in considering the Littleton area. I currently live in Littleton and have been house hacking my walkout basement as an AirBnb unit with a lot of success. It may be a little farther west from what you described above but there are still neighborhoods here in that price range, especially if you are willing to put some work into it. If you are looking for younger professional tenants, Littleton offers great proximity to DTC and Lockheed Martin, along with many medical facilities. These also lend to some opportunity for "mid-term" rentals (1-3 months) for traveling workers. I have found a lot of success in that space in my current house hack.
