@Ryan Richard DiCanio

Congrats on taking the first step in your new journey! Just as others mentioned it is a fast and hot market but don’t let that deter you because it’s only going up from here! You’ll be fine as long as you have a plan and knowledgeable people on your team. If you have questions, let’s connect!

Hello BP community!

I am a Chicago/Northwest Indiana investor and would like to know when is a good time to start an LLC? At the moment, I have a total of seven doors spread out over three addresses. I am not sure if my portfolio is big enough to start an LLC or if that even matters. I have been told my current portfolio size does not justify costs associated with starting an LLC. I have also been told that an LLC will make things difficult when trying to refinance or obtain a competitive interest rate. More cons than pros but hopefully someone can shed some light on the LLC .

Thanks in advance!

@Javier Rosales I recently went through a very similar situation and the stress/anxiety was out of control throughout the whole process! But once everything was said and done I am extremely happy with the decision to push on and everything worked out for the best. I hope you have the same end result.

@Clay Gregord Personally, I do not believe laminate over granite will decrease the rent potential. Now that's assuming everything else you mentioned is comparable to your competition.

Airbnb for me. I would rather avoid the crowds in the common areas and not to mention I get to bring my pups!
